We aim to offer farmers the tools and support needed to thrive while making their farms more profitable and resilient. Here’s how the program works

1: Join the African Carbon Alliance – Your Path to Higher Yields and Greater Profits

Invest in Wellcrop Products: By purchasing Wellcrop products at $205 per hectare, you automatically become a member of the African Carbon Alliance. This membership goes beyond just buying a product; it opens doors to exclusive benefits, financial rewards, and agricultural support services designed to maximise your farm’s success.
Immediate Cost Reduction through Carbon Credits: You are eligible for our carbon credit program when you replace traditional nitrogen fertilisers with Wellcrop’s sustainable products. This program provides an upfront $60 carbon credit per hectare, applied directly as a discount to your purchase. This reduces your cost to $145 per hectare, allowing you to save immediately while transforming your soil and boosting crop yields.
Exclusive Membership Benefits: Through our biochar program, Alliance members gain access to tailored agricultural support, including mentoring, technical assistance, and financial rewards. We offer a comprehensive package that ensures lower input costs, higher productivity, and additional income streams for your farm.

2: Secured Payment Process for Transparency, Security, and Peace of Mind

50% Payment on Order: Farmers will pay 50% of the product cost at the time of order. This initial payment secures their place in the program and enables us to prepare their order efficiently.
Deposit and Escrow Management: The 50% payment will be held in a secured deposit account with ABSA Bank. This deposit remains protected until the farmer receives the goods. If, for any reason, the farmer does not receive the products as expected, a full money-back guarantee is in place to return their deposit, ensuring complete peace of mind and security.
Completion of Payment: Once the products are delivered and the farmer pays the remaining 50%, the transaction is finalised, and the farmer benefits from Wellcrop’s complete support services.

3: Carbon Credit and Biochar Program Participation

Carbon Credit Program: By transitioning to Wellcrop’s eco-friendly solutions, farmers improve their soil and earn from their sustainable practices. Our carbon credit program provides upfront payments and ongoing benefits, ensuring long-term profitability for our members.
Biochar Program: Alliance members can participate in our biochar initiative, earning between $150 and $250 per hectare for their harvested biomass, which is expected to yield approximately 6 to 10 tons per hectare. This program offers an additional income stream while promoting sustainable agricultural practices

4: Monitoring and Support through the DMRV Platform

DMRV Platform Access: Enrolled farmers gain access to our Data Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (DMRV) platform, which tracks all purchases, monitors crop yields (past and present) and verifies the carbon sequestered through our regenerative practices. This data-driven platform ensures transparency and helps farmers maximise their carbon credits and yields.
Ongoing Mentorship and Support: Our program provides personalised guidance, mentoring, and technical support to ensure farmers succeed at every step.
